The simplest recipe ever, but it’s my favorite quick breakfast.
1/2 cup oatmeal
1 small apple, chopped
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (you can also add 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, but I don’t like nutmeg so I omit it)
1 tablespoon peanut butter
In a small saucepan, bring 1 cup water to a boil, throw in oatmeal, apples, cinnamon, and simmer for 3-ish minutes. Put your tablespoon of peanut butter into whatever bowl you’ll be using once the oatmeal is done, and then dump the contents of your saucepan over the peanut butter. Mix together.

Remember how Robert Rodriguez’s Once Upon a Time in Mexico turned out to be a fantastically campy, amazing film? And remember how he kind of hinted that there would be a sequel that would focus on the continued struggles of one of my favorite film characters of all time, the newly blind Agent Sands?
Well, I think it’s high time this film became a reality. It could be about Sands going completely off the reservation, taking out the cartels and the corrupt government agents who support them, until finally everyone has had enough of the crazy, blind gunslinger, and all corners start sending out mercenaries to hunt him down.
I think Jessica Chastain & Michael Fassbender should play creepy siblings that the CIA sends out after Sands. It would be…possibly the greatest thing I’ve ever seen on the big screen.
“Christ, Guntz,” he breathes, peering into the room at the identical heads of red, “why’d you call them in? You want us to create a bigger shitstorm than we already got?” Because bringing in those two, it’s akin to spraying gasoline on a house fire.
“I know you’ve only been here a couple of years,” not even looking up from his paperwork, “but you’ll learn that sometimes the only effective way to fight crazy is with…even bigger crazy.”
